Hey People!!!

how are you feeling?

Im feeling great!! Having fun here in Canada, and making the most  of every day!of course no one can go through life happy at every moment, so yes ive had my moments when i think maybe it would be easier at home-but then i think of my wonderful friends, family, room, sports, and life her in canada, and I feel a determination to live it to the max!! Plus im only here for a short time, and soon ill get all the joys and plesures of home(eg warmth!!)Speaking of warmth the only warmth here comes out of a heater, even when the sun is shining its colder than overcast days!!! So far ive been out in the cold and wet hair has frozen!Ive seen huge icicles draping off the rooves of houses, seen snow banks(snow pushed to the side of the road, so you can drive) that are as tall as me, a whole lake as white as snow because theres a layer of snow on it because it is frozen!(luckily lake superior is still water, because thats what keeps us warm here in thunderbay!) Every one here decorates their house with xmas lights, ive seen snow men, ice candles,heaps of new icy things-and sometimes my door on the car doesnt open because it is frozen shut!!!

Ive been ice-skating, sledding and about to go snowboarding, ive also been tubing- which is sliding down a huge hill in a track thats been dug out on a tyre tube-its freaky, but fun!!!oh my goodness, i thought i would bounce off my tube in any second-very thrilling!!

The language and culture is actually really different here. I really want to learn about the canadian inians culture and have made contacts to do so, so ill keep you posted on that. The people act differntly-much more layed back here. Teen agewise Girls wear make up at age 13, boys care about fashion, they have  a whole different vocabulary!! im writing it on this website for you to laugh about!!Every morning, we stand and listen to oh canada at school, i eat in a cafeteria with about 6 hundred other students, my school is so huge-we cant even fit in our huge gym!!!

Im taking guitaar, gym, advanced english, and geography and we go a whole four months of school, and then have a two week holiday for xmas, and then come back for exams, then come right back for the next semester for six months-you can imagine i miss our four terms with two weeks holiday in between, so im haning out for a holiday-but its ok, Im optimistic and flowing with these changes as best i can!!.

So right now xmas is here-and so is the snow!!! YYYAAAYY!! my fist white christmas!! its soo beautifull!!when everything is covered in a plump layer of soft white snow-it insulates the ground and makes te world look like its made of marshmallows.

SO all in all Life is beautiful-i ahve many friends here, my family is loving and supportive, i have a fantastic boyfriend, school is fun-im learning heaps:especially about myself, the whether is beautiful, I can express myself creatively and perform singing, and also write my own songs and play guitaar, i still have plenty of money left, I have everyhting i need, at anytime i need it-yes life is good!!!
