My name is Whakaangi Rongonui.
I am on an exchange for 11 months in canada! This website is to explain how my life is going in Canada, and also to show my new friends and family what my life in New Zealand is like!
I am 17 years old, and I love singing, acting, all sports-especially biking and surfing!, dancing, and pretty much everything good life has to offer!

Because Im New Zealand Maori, I am brown skinned and black haired. i also have Greek blood in me and thats where I get my green eyes. I am average height and normal weight. I am interested in the other ninety percent of our brains that we dont use, and am fascinated by the power of our minds. I want to be a singing actress and maybe a phsycologist.
I was born in Pungarehu. And raised in beautiful Taranaki, that is my home! My parents are Kataraina and Rangiroa Rongonui.I have three sisters Te Waiwera, Iritana and Hinepounamu and two brothers Tumehe and Eruera. As you can see we all have maori names and that is because since we were born we learnt about our maori side hence my father is a maori teacher and my Mum is studying to be one! But I am proud of my maori Heritage and am willing to share my culture to people in canada.

i was headgirl of this school while i was here!! This school and everyone in it rocks!!!i love you all!!its a beautifull school too!! very different from hammarshckjold high here in thunder bay!which is made of bricks to protect it from the extreme weather!
